Can I get it made to my measurements?

Yes. Choose Send Body Measurements when you order. There's no extra charge, and made-to-measure orders are returnable like any other order.

Is a dupatta included?

No. The set is the phiran and salwar.

Will I pay customs on an international order?

No. International orders ship with duties prepaid, so there's nothing to pay on delivery.
  • Dry clean only.
  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Iron on the reverse with a cloth over the embroidery.
  • Store folded in muslin, away from damp.

About the Craft

Tilla is Kashmir's metal-thread embroidery. The metallic thread is laid on the surface of the cloth and held down with small stitches of a finer thread, so it stays on top of the fabric instead of passing through it. Puff tilla is tilla work raised over padding, so the metallic motifs stand slightly proud of the fabric.

Gold puff tilla is worked across the full yoke and shoulders in a dense floral vine and lotus design, then repeated as a slim border on the cuffs and as butis scattered across the salwar.

Each piece is made with custom work, so there may be subtle differences from one piece to the next.
